Artist's Comments
So, this is my first completed work of 2009. What a great way to start the year. Again, the luscious Jennifer Love Hewitt. Well, I'm quite happy with it, though I'm sure some will suggest more mid-tones to bring out the realism to it. Frankly speaking, I like the subtle softness of it... or maybe this is just a lame excuse on my side. Sure, I admire those artists that can produce photography-standard drawings and I'd love to be able to achieve that level in the future... but I have a fear of ruining the whole drawing if I were to administer more shading to the face tone... The hair was exceptionally tedious and pain staking to do... What do you think?
